This policy describes how Disco Volante Labs LLC ("we", "us", "our") handles information collected through the website at discovolantelabs.com. Our mobile apps have their own privacy policies: see Splitz and Geopunk.

Cookies & consent

When you first visit the site, you'll see a banner asking whether you consent to anonymous analytics. Until you make a choice, no analytics data is collected and no analytics cookies are set.

• If you accept: Firebase Analytics initializes and starts logging anonymous page-view events. Firebase sets a small number of cookies (e.g. _ga, _ga_*) to distinguish sessions.
• If you decline: Firebase Analytics is not initialized, no analytics cookies are set, and no data is sent.

Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage so we don't ask again on every visit. You can change it at any time using the button below.

Information collected by Firebase Analytics

When you accept analytics consent, Firebase Analytics (a Google service) collects the following anonymous data so we can understand how the site is used:

• Client ID: an anonymous identifier stored in your browser to distinguish sessions. Not linked to your name, email, or other personal info.
• Page views: which pages you visit and in what order.
• Approximate location: derived from your IP (typically country/region).
• Device & browser data: browser, OS, screen resolution, language, and referring URL.

Firebase Analytics data is processed by Google on our behalf, governed by Firebase's policy and Google's privacy policy.

Contact form

The contact form is handled by Web3Forms, a third-party email-forwarding service. When you submit the form, the following is sent through Web3Forms to our support inbox:

• Your name (as you enter it)
• Your email address (as you enter it)
• The subject line and message body you wrote

We use this information solely to respond to your message. Web3Forms processes the submission on our behalf, governed by their privacy policy. If you'd rather email us directly (for example, to attach a file), use the link on the contact page.

What we don't do

• We don't have user accounts on this website, and we don't ask you to sign up.
• We don't sell your data to anyone.
• We don't run advertising or use advertising trackers on this website.
• We don't track you across other websites ourselves.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, and be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. EEA, UK & Switzerland residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you're in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, GDPR (and its UK / Swiss equivalents) applies to the limited processing we and our service providers carry out. Disco Volante Labs LLC acts as the data controller.

• Consent: Firebase Analytics is initialized only after you accept analytics on the cookie banner.
• Legitimate interests: handling and responding to contact-form submissions.
